Bronze sitting Buddha from the ancient Lan Na kingdom of Thailand. Typical example of the rare style of Hot district, shows the classic openwork in the base. High quantity of precious metals in the alloy gives to the weathered surfaces an extremely attractive texture and patina. North Thailand, 16th century - guaranteed authentic item, not to be confused with the fakes today on the market. H. cm. 24. Part of the base is missing, and some losses as seen in the photos.
